Been a month, do we get a pro-rated refund when a product is not delivered like stats? Great game and having no stats really is a black eys for a great game.

They're not gone for good.

Essentially the database that syncs them is acting up and requires CRS to contract one of the old coders to come back in and fix it. Money is on that right now they're trying to figure out whats causing the issue to fix it, vs just fixing it, so they don't have to keep having downtimes on stats.

Personally I am fed up with the lack of results of not having stats for going on 3 months. With stats this is a good game, without stats, it becomes medicore. I think CSR is doing a large dis-service to the customers and ignoring our comments. Sure you hear that they are training someone to replace the one and only guy who maintained the stats before, but you know, that is a pretty weak response.

i have to agree the stats are what make the game worth playing and it promotes competition between players for a PVP online game the lack of stats is basicly like shooting NPCs and thats just plain boring and we havent even been told if and when the stats are getting fixed come on rats give us a clue when you gonna fix them

Yeah we're working on it. Looks like we'll go ahead and bring the game up today because we need to build a test server at the colo facility. That'll take a bit more time than we wanted but it seems we're on the right track. We THINK we found it but we need a redundant system for testing so we don;t acidentally kill the stat histories.

DOC told me they were working on this as a high priority along with some other items to make our game time more enjoyable. I have been in game for 10 years, I can wait a bit longer.

I don't think its a lack of staff because before they had them working when they were by themselves. I believe its something else and to be honest if they are smart they would fix it as fast as possible. Lots of stat whores in this game and they would naturally make more money because of it.

But hey I've only been here since practically day one, what do I know. lol

There are additional uses for stats besides showing ones leetness; for example, very hard to give out many of the awards w/o stats to verify accomplishments.

We've figured out the scripts where the functions fail. Right now our new host guy is trying to figure out where everything is and how things work.

When we do campaign to intermission this time we'll narrow in on the cause a bit more. IT's something in the scripts not working right. It cascades into a lot of other problems we're seeing like RDP weirdness and the wrong campaign number and the web map not working right.

Our priorities right now are getting the server infrastructure understood b the new guy and backing all that information up so we have redundancy. There a bit of a learning curve there as you can probably imagine. Then the priorities are HCTools, fix or replace, and CSR/Scoring, fix and improve.

Getting things secure so the game stays on line is priority number one though.

When I can tell you how long it will be, the answer will be now. Until then it'll just be *soon*.

We've been looking at the code. When we did the last campaign to intermission to campaign cycle we got all of the scripts documented out for the new coder and fixed all of the issues.

So the game systems are working and the process scripts are working but scoring still isn't working. At the root is that reporting isn't working.

It's not just scoring reporting. RDP reporting, campaign number reporting, etc. So we've narrowed down the problem and are zeroing in on it but there's no manual to tell the new guy what he needs to know so we're learning as we go.

The good news to that is we're fixing, backing up, stabilizing and planning improvements as we go too.

We're also working on a whole body replacement for CSR so you should think abit on what you would like to see from a new version of that.

Thanks so much for the updates Gophur. Stats and scoring makes the game a lot more fun and competitive.I freakin' love stats and hate being without them.

Something new I would like to see is all time stats. like, who is the best German rifle all time, all campaigns combined.
