In aircraft commonly get every second sortie this annoying bit offset cockpit compared to true alignment of guns.

If you die with the view shifted from front with mouse look on (trackir too) you'll respawn with the gunsight slewed. Hit n key move the mouse then n again and respawn. It's on the list
