Friend cannot enter game. MOTD Okay button does not "Click" - #128

Ok. Trying to get my friend to play but he is not able to log in. When the main screen opens the MOTD pops up and he cannot click the OKAY button.... or rather when he does nothing happens and the MOTD does not go away.

Windows 8 machine, I do not know much more than that unfortunately. He downloaded the software twice. reinstalled, rebooted.

Help?

He could try rolling back to the previous version of win8.

Or perhaps try running it in compatibility mode(no idea if this would work tbh).

My personal choice would be to bin win8 and go for win7, but maybe i'm just getting old

Windows 8 bug. Aw dammit. I'm gonna have to buy Win8 now. I was really hoping not to have any support issues for the UI in 1.34.10. I'll look at it as I can.

I did laugh at him a little for using Win 8. He says he tried using it in compatibility mode but it did not work. Hes an IT/Systems Admin so I trust that he generally knows his way around a computer.
