CS&R 2.0 Alpha top player rifle and LMG.

Checked this list and it is not including my army stats, it is just navy. Since it is player stats, shouldn't all personas be included?

When I do top personas I see both stats, num 7 and 16 as rifle. But the player stats misses my num 16 stats.

I suspect many of the top player lists are not getting the kills from all the branches now. I only checked rifle and LMG.

*** Something broke - as when I checked LMG last time kills from both army and navy were included, last time I had 14 kills - now just 3.

You're right.

It looks like what happened here is that the main query was dependent on the subquery for more than the sortie and capture sums. I had to change that query to go by a player id rather than persona id. It apparently dropped the remaining persona portion of the query. Almost exactly the opposite of what you pointed out yesterday. I'll try to work on it tonight.

The top persona reports are going to be more accurate because they are original queries we found. Even they suffer from a problem on both systems due to the database being inconsistent between it's tables. TGUNR will be able to correct that for 96.

Right now, with the old database in the state it's in, the Weapons report (bottom half of player summary) is probably the only truly accurate report. Even it suffers from some missing records. The database resumed collecting data correctly about 9/23.

My "last 7 sorties" is accurate.... but the "Last 5 weapons used" isn't even close. It is waaaay off. Has stuff back from Aug 30 as my last weapon used. It shows none of my DD, Navy SMG etc, some of my most used weapons.

Will take a look at that too. Both come off the sortie table which I trust. Pretty sure it's a bug and not a data problem.

I can reproduce the correct totals in pieces, but not in a single query at the moment. May not get the top player report fixed tonight. It was that I was depending on the same table to sum captures and sorties, to grab the persona ids. Shot myself in the foot, but that subquery had to be fixed so there wasn't a choice. When I get it working on one, it will automatically apply to all the vehicles (weapons).

This should be corrected now. I had the wrong date specified. The last 5 should be the last 5.

On the top player issue, it not including all personas kills, the problem has turned out to be complex enough that I may have to punt and start generating these reports batch every 15 minutes, just like the old CSR did with Top 100s. When I get the query right to be accurate, it's too slow to be usable. We are talking a minute or more for any top player weapon report. I haven't given up yet, but I should make a decision tonight whether it can be done interactively or not.

Could you take a look at this when you get a chance. Sorting a formatted date produced unexpected results. May impact several reports.

Yes, right now they would. It was a bust to try and fix the Top Player lists. When It's accurate, it's too slow. I'm getting up the nerve to replace them all with batch versions like the old persona top lists, probably updated on a 15 minute cycle. I may have to do the same for the persona top lists in order to include the sorties back on the report as mentioned in the other thread.

For the Allied Side, we would use the top persona lists, yes. There is no other way to issue side based awards. I assume the same must be true for Axis.

You'll see the issue about the Top Player reports in the other thread. In other issues, I'm doing my real work right now waiting for the Campaign end. The Rats are working up some guidelines on achievements that will translate into programs soon. Those require some art, and that is being worked. Plus some really big changes will come when I get extracts from two other system databases. That should provide some completely new reports that people have requested. Things like damages, ammo used, and event locations may be available for more sophisticated reporting than we've had in the past.

The changes I am going to work this week are:

1. Masking for sortie reports so you can pull up subsets

2. K/D (and other stats) totaled for a period (i.e., being able to see the K/D for a specific battle, day, week etc)

3. A full page detail report for a given sortie, this will be a link from anywhere you see a sortie currently displayed

Do you think it would be valuable to start a new thread and cover all issues on one thread?

Before starting anything new, please get the top player reports working correctly, that is what I'm thinking.

Not sure what you mean by sortie subsets - if you mean weapon types, that what we have now with top player or persona.

KD for time periods not needed imo; just map KD, each weapon KD and lifetime KD.

Full page sortie, not sure, probably not - as nothing cumulative will come out of it, right? But, if can be generated easily to provide info, sure.
