Guarding not rewarding points?

For a week or two now, I haven't received any points for guarding. I receive points for other things (capping and kills) but for some reason guarding points always reads as zero.

I am a subscriber, I am not top ranked, and I have made sure I should have received some points for guarding (have stayed on a CP for a longer period of time and then RTB'd). I have received guarding points in the past.

I have seen few others mentioning this on the help channel so it seems some accounts are suffering from this but probably not all?

Not a huge thing but would be nice to receive those few points every now and then anyway...

testing is difficult and time consuming, and doesn't always reflect what is being reported

it would help a lot to narrow the possibilities down if the reporting contained a lot more detail

we are very few here, with a lot to do; if you can assist, we can get more done

Stuff like:

Frontline/not frontline ?

AO'd or non AO'd ?

Linked or not linked Brigade spawn ? (mission origin)

In Town Brigade spawn ? (mission origin)

Depot or Ab spawn ? (mission origin)

Mission Target = facility being guarded or not ?

Is this true for all brigade types in all the above examples ? <- or not ?

ie: we have to get all the variables covered ... it might not be a bug or it might be, but there are a lot of variables to cover before this can be determined.

thanks for the reply.

Yesterday evening (euro) I tried with one sortie, got guarding points normally. Now tried another, didn't. Here are some details about the sortie not receiving guarding points:

Town: Aalst (had AO from allies and our DO)

Brigade: 3. Panzer 3. Kampfgruppe

CP: Aalst-Ninoven Depot (said 'Enemy Can Capture' the whole time)

Sortie ID: 1944486

Unfortunately I cannot answer all your questions because I don't even know what they all mean. Can you pick up any more information that you need with the Sortie ID though?

Guarding CPs is the best way to rank up...

I feel for you man, saw you in the field and you seem like a good player, hang in there am sure a fix will come...

No wonder our CPs are often unguarded, new players are looking to rank up... Go figure...

Happened again, guarded AB for 40 minutes, zero points for guarding.
