I'm sure folks have heard of Star Citizen. Anyhow, there are a few backers of that game that have been talking up dog fighting. I've encouraged them to try WWIIOL to see how good they really are.

In looking to see what planes are free to play versus subscription I turned to the wiki.

Unfortunately the wiki appears to be a dead link. Just wanted to let folks be aware and if the wiki is gone for good--maybe change up the links to the guides and such to not give a 404?

15 minute response--dang!! Thanks for the speedy reply!

(Found a great youtube video that walks new folks through the F2P planes and basics of flight for reference while the wiki gets tweaked.)

when it does come back up, will those of us who were able to edit still be able to do so? I'll admit to not being the most active on it recently, but I had started poking around it again to see if anything needed updating.

We can not give a time frame. Unfortunately doing anything with the servers is like playing the game pick up sticks. If move to fast and disturb something there is a chance you can make it worse. Also if you do move a stick that breaks something else there you need to fix that before you can continue on.

As I have learned over the past year is how intertwined and fragile our servers are that we be very carful on how we proceed.

I have patience :) - I have faith that at some point it will be back up (however long/short that is), just wondering about editing rights - seemed the best thread to ask in
