So is there no way to fix

falling through stairs, sticking out of structures even though your inside (not laying down) and not being able to run up stairs? Ei running through walls. He looked like he ran upstairs but oh no he runs through a solid wall.

No fix CRS? Restarting game doesn't help, several video drivers later doesn't help.

I only experience that if I've been ingame for hours, restarting the game fixes it.

Have you tried rebooting when it happens?

Restarting the game should fix it happening to YOU. It occurring to others is their choice to fix. If he falls into stairs and stays there shooting, it's reportable (to my knowledge).

Beyond that, a permanent fix requires patching the game (and fully 100% understanding the bug. Fairly certain it has something to do with low FPS but that's another thing entirely).

You don't even have to restart the game just manually back out to the persona screen and select a different persona then go right back and its fixed same thing happens in the planes your bullets fire all funny or go rubber it fixes it

Pretty sure it's the offset bug.

I've found going out to the persona screen - then back in to game at a town FAR FAR away (from your current town) and spawning a truck or rifle; then back out to persona and back to where you were, works.

So does restarting - but it takes longer.

Depends on if hes expecting it to fix other people being offset too...

Its one heck of a nasty bug. First time I ran into it on the beta server I was going TEH? for 20 minutes while my buddies tried to rifle grenade me.

We made some improvements for this in 1.35. When the Steam project goes into beta we'll need to test this more.

this would require a new collider system

I don't doubt your knowledge here doc, but as this offset bug only seemed to rear it's head with the last patch....

Isn't the issue more to do with something being offset when someone spawns in, rather than (as i think you implied) preventing avatar 'clipping'? Although that would be very nice too of course.

Did you manage to re-improve the shoot/kill delay...? I remember how good it was in the US BETA.

Hmmm, odd, this never happened before the last patch or two - can't recall when it started - but I had never seen this before. The collider system seemed to have worked for years for me properly.

In other words, something new happened that broke it - or more pessimistically, it was always broke and fixing something else brought this out of the woodwork. My guess is the former.

Regardless - no need to know why - let's just hope the 1.35 changes help, and if not - keep it on the fix list.
