I would advice you to install the 4GB Patch if you have a PC, it fixed keymapper crash and alot of other CTD issues for me.

Download from www.ntcore.com/4gb_patch.php

When you have started the patchprogram, you should browse to your WW2OL folder, and find the executable file called ww2.

Done!

---------------------

" This very little tool patches x86 executables in order to let them have 4GB (instead of only 2) of virtual memory on x64 platforms. This tool comes very handy for applications which need a great amount of virtual memory like games, 3D renderization, multimedia etc. To gain these 2GB, you just have to use this tool to patch the executable (*.exe file) of the software you want to have these additional GBs of virtual memory. It can be used by clicking on it and choosing the file or through command line (e.g.: "4gb_patch file.exe"). It automatically creates a backup copy of the original executable."

Keymap CTD on save is a global calib file error.

In your "documents/battleground europe/cfml" folder find the global file. the extension is .calib so global.calib.

Delete the global file and the next time to start the game it will create a new one.

keycrash.jpg

This file is where your deadzones for mouse and joystick (ingame settings) are stored.

The 4gig patch only sets the crash flags in the ww2.exe from 1.7 gig to 4 gig. That's all it does.

All 32 bit windows programs are flagged to crash at or around 1.7 gigs of mem usage. The patch changes those flags to a 4gig mem usage crash.
