For the final assault on the German stronghold of Liege as well at the follow up capture of Vise on 7 July. By reducing this stronghold to a smoking ruin and demolishing the defending units, their actions enabled the allied offensive to regain momentum.

The actions of these service members were in keeping with the highest standards of the military, and reflect credit not only on themselves, but on their countries and the Allied Forces.
