I was just looking at the new stats page and noticed something that needs to be clarified as soon as possible.

When checking Top scores in areas, I noticed that the nationality of the player has been removed from the list. This is an extremely important piece of information for HC to be able to see, because it affects our ability to issue awards to players for performance.

Because Nationality is not listed it is impossible for HC to verify what nationality a player was playing when they earned their ranking. It prevents HC on either side from recognizing players for their stats.

If this is not corrected, it will completely nullify our ability to award Top players in a campaign based on stats.

If this was done intentionally, this needs to be stated, so that awards officers can make sure that such awards are removed as active awards in the system. Many players still expect to be able to receive these awards.

We were asked to make them side specific as it was deemed unfair to Allied players to have to work in 3 countries. This has been the general approach to all things in recent years.

Im fine with that.

But we need it to say what side the players are actually playing to be able to issue awards based on stats.

Axis and Allied info need to be added to the toplist, e.g top smg, top rifle e.t.c.

the problem is that the stats are NOT side specific from what I can see. The nationality/side of the player is not listed at all. Unless we have more information, such at least having the stats broken down showing Axis or Allied, then the problem remains, and side awards will be totally irrelevant.

There is no way we in HC can know who plays on a side during a campaign unless stats gives us that information. Right now, we cannot distinguish Axis players from Allied players or side switchers.

Regardless, and I am not criticizing CRS...but we just need to know what your decision on this is going to be. From what you said about stats going side specific, the awards list will have to be redone. The top player awards will have to be removed and a new set of combined awards will need to be redesigned and integrated into the system and the old ones removed. But if we are NOT going to have side specific stats, then we just need to scrap the existing ones without going through the process of designing new ones and getting them approved and integrated into the list.

I'm happy to do the necessary work either way, but I need to know what work needs to be done, and in the meantime, we still have no way to verify side specific stats or give awards. I know it's not just me either, as the Axis will have the same issue.

Any information (when you can) will help a lot. For now we will just tell people that stat awards are on hold indefinitely.

No problem there. The currents stats I believe are PLAYER stats, doesn't matter which side or branch (any rifle sortie, any side, any branch counts), and I think that is good.

But, I do agree that one should be able to query by side or 'branch only' if they like. So, give me all my allied rifle stats (all rifle sortie of allied persona- french, brit, air force, navy, etc.) Give me all my KM rifle stats (this would only be axis navy rifle stats - not allied navy, not LW rifle etc.)

There are many awards that are based on a side or branch - so doing a query like that would be very helpful. Perfect example - axis FMB and DD awards. Right now a query for DD would give ALL (allied and axis) DD sorties... this makes it nearly impossible to determine who gets some awards.
