#444 - 1.34.10 Teamspeak Overlay issue

Minor issue but TeamSpeak Overlay doesn't appear to work with the 1.34.10.5 build.

Mine is working but I'm using a older version of TS/not overwolf.

Version 3.0.12

I'm using the latest 3.0.16 version of TeamSpeak, and just using the latest version of the TeamSpeak Overlay plugin, not Overwolf.

As TeamSpeak Overlay is injected into the Direct X, and the patch needs you to update this, I wonder if this is the cause of the issue?

Ticketed for a look. Are you having the issue with other games since you updated the DirectX?

If you start TS as Admin it worked for me

Just tested and Chyrenz is correct. Run TS as administrator and it works.

My best guess is this means it is somehow related to the game now prompting you with the User Account Control dialog box every time it runs.

Tested further. If you set User Account Control to never prompt you when changes are made then Teamspeak works fine running it normally, no need to run it as admin.

Therefore the issue is somehow related to USer Account Control not recognising Cornered Rats as the publisher.

With the current 1.34.10.9 version TeamSpeak Overlay doesn't work unless you run TeamSpeak as Administrator.

However if I do this I will get random CTD's when playing. This usually happens when I'm about to spawn into the world. You'll see your unit appear, then CTD. It can happen on the first couple of spawn, or after 20 or so.

If I run TeamSpeak normally the overlay doesn't work but I never get any CTD's.

It's a minor issue so not worth worrying too much about.

My original TS Overlay died a long time ago, Overwolf never worked it caused a crash of WW2OL at startup

It's the new program written by Rorbach (creators of TS Overlay)

I've had 0 issues with it, download the websocket plugin then in Settings/Plugins make sure it's checked.

That might be a good idea as I wasn't aware of this until KMS posted abot it here and it is great to have a TS overlay back and I'm sure the flyboys would like it.
