the crosshairs are too small and light, can't see them if there's a dark object down the sight.

was the m10 & m3, err,... "down-zoomed"? feels like the FoV is smaller

The higher the zoom, the smaller the FOV. The lower the zoom the wider the FOV is.

The mag went from 4.5 to 3 though I don't really know what that means. These files are way complicated luckily HChris is much smarter than I am. Here's the file for that gunsight:

# gunsight file for M10 Tank Destroyer, Model M70G, created by hchris, Jan 2012

#

# coordinates are 0,0 at boresight, -x is left and -y is down

#

# coordinates are in mils, fov in degrees

# 1 deg = 17.45 mils, 1 mil = 0.05730 deg

# mag should be 1st line, as it sets the field of view in the game

mag 3

the m10/76.2 were already difficult to shoot with, with their huge recoil and shell drop. now it's hard to see the numbers and lines on the sights, i have to put my face to the screen to see them.

are those range numbers using the imperial system?

if so can you change it to metric, i know it's not historically accurate but this is a game, and everything is in metric.

:D

that explains the american's weak guns

General "i want a gun that shoots a shot 1/4 of king georges left foot, at 3000 foots per second, with the power of 81 horses!"

technician "what!?"

General "you heard me egghead!"

technician "err, we have a few big anti-flying-machine artillery like that (probably)"

General "good. put them on tractors so we can shoot metal landships with them!"

technician "um... ok but their made to shoot balloon airships sir."

General "balloon airships, metal landships it doesn't matter! put the big gun on the tractor!"

technician "if you say so sir..."
