Logi tech 3d js detected but will not keycap properly

I installe the new mac beta.

The js is recognized and will allow some functions. i.e rudder movement.

Other attempts at key mapping fail.

The trigger button..which is joy stick 1 button 1 is supposed to be what you depress to shoot the main guns.

This always activates esc to exit the game.

Other buttons on the js bring up the function series on the top of the keyboard !!!!????

Anyway....I did put the ww2ol folder in preferences from my previous set up. perhaps that is walking it.

no idea, very frustrating, will try to remove that and see what happens.

Tried taking everything out of pref area.

zapped pram

re plugged the joystick.

Still get my trigger button mapping to the escape key.

NOT GOOD !!!

checked cmfl files in library press area

all are set as before when things worked.

joystick controller has trigger as index 1 button1 which should activate the gun.

no luck though

Still brings up the esc key

No ideas at this point...just always hitting the trigger brings up esc.

Other buttons are configurable.
