Navigate to your stick in windows, go to advanced and set to work with older programs or as preferred device

I had the same problem and it ended up being the x58 chipset on the motherboard was not supported by windows 10. My CH joystick, throttle and rudder would either drop out or switch places with each other. It was different with each reboot.

ok i went through my old email from when i bought my computer and found my motherboard name :

Asus P7P55D Deluxe -- Intel P55 Chipset CrossFire and SLI Supported w/9.1 Sound,

so i've got a intel P55 chipset

and its not a x58 chipset , but now i'm confused at this point. :)

i'm not sure exactly how to fix this bcause my moherboard is not showing up in my device manager

All I can say is Google is your friend. Try searching every combination of your motherboard and windows 10 upgrade to see if others found a solution. Some say a clean OS install is the only way to go. Do the upgrade, get the new Product Key (because it will change from Win7) then download the Windows 10 ISO and try to figure out how to install it.

I tried during the first week after the Win10 release so there was still a lot of work being done by mfr's to keep up.

This was all way beyond my knowledge of PC's.

good luck!
