AWS bug - ghost AWS

There are sector moving with other one. Its looking like cross addressing mistake.

I can't reproduce it on ally side (not playing AXIS). This bug is affected side on the east, usualy AXIS only.

Example 1

Initial state

AWS BI36 is UP (antwerp)

AWS BG40 is UP (maubeuge)

new conditions

BI36 planes are moving to east via BJ36, BK36, BL36, BM36, BN36, BO36, BP36, BQ36

AWS BG40 is still UP (maubeuge)

bug: there are ghost AWS at BJ40, BK40, BL40, BM40, BN40, BO40, BP40, BQ40 which move to east simultaneously and chang color from red to yelow same time. Ghost AWS are returning back to west like the line 36 usualy.

Example 2

Initial state

AWS BI36 is UP (antwerp)

AWS BI38 is UP (brussel)

AWS BG40 is UP (maubeuge)

new conditions

BI36 planes are moving to east via BJ36, BK36, BL36, BM36, BN36, BO36, BP36, BQ36

AWS BI38 is still UP (brussel)

AWS BG40 is still UP (maubeuge)

bug: there are ghost AWS at BJ38, BK38, BL38, BM38, BN38, BO38, BP38, BQ38 which move to east simultaneously and chang color from red to yelow same time. Ghost AWS are returning back to west like the line 38 usualy.

Inaccuracy of AWS is not the answer for me like before. This inaccuracy is pretty accurate.

All A/EWS (Inf / armour around towns, air RADAR) has intentional delay (cooldown) built in when it comes to it clearing / "reseting".

If you are flying BK-->BM-->BN it's likely your single plane will be causing yellow squares in at least two, if not three of those (depending on your ground speed - factor of alt + airspeed). If you get shot down in BN, the yellow will persist for a good few minutes (5?) before it clears.

If there are a bunch of enemy planes all flying roughly the same route but staggered / different speeds, you'll get the AWS map showing a cluster of yellow squares, with potentially a red one if enough enemy air gets into the same square at the same time.

Also I pretty sure you show up on AWS as soon as you spawn at your home AF.

A proper fly-boy can probably confirm the cool-down timer, the numbers required to go from yellow to red and if AWS triggers when you spawn

There is a speed requirement.

I remember in BETA seeing the line pop up saying you where now on AWS as I took off.

No, no, no. I don't think delay. One, two, three AWS sectors are mirrored 50 miles far away and moving with same direction same speed.

Based on what I've always been told by pilots, it's intentional. I could be wrong, but I've never heard otherwise.

Mirrored AWS has always been a bug.

The intentional bit was the delay between a plane entering a square and it showing up. Can't remember what the delay is currently, but originally it was a couple of minutes.
