We're looking into the crashes now. Unfortunately literally none of these showed up during testing, so this kind of open test is the only way we can get them to show up. Sorry about that.

Was anybody else having difficulty with the joystick sensitivity curves?

My settings were the exact same as in the live game, but the sensitivity was out of this world - it wasn't reacting much, would drop stick to reset, and next pull back to pitch up would send the plane violently upwards with very little movement.

Stick itself is not fried. The only axis that shows a little wear is the throttle slider.

It didn't seem like the sensitivity curves in keymapper were relating to the movement in game.

Lots of others were lifted and not seeming to have issues, so I wonder if my experience was isolated.

PS. Stop strafing me as soon as I get wheels up, Dodger, I can't fix my settings if I can't even get into the air!!!!!

Ive cleared c drive of any WWII related files, cleared document folder of Battlefield Europe contents. Downloaded FULL PC Installation. Go to launch game and continually get Authentication Failed message and launch stops. have done this numerous times. Have tried to launch from Playgate in C drive, and tried to Run as administrator. I have gone back to the Download page and downloaded Patch after full install, i then get Unsuitable Patch, please update at Download page. Checked account, its active, have been a member since Dec2015. Im at a loss of what to do. Any suggestions???

Did you guys uninstall a prior beta version or did you delete the beta files/folder without 1st uninstalling?

If you just went in and deleted game files and folders.......you still have registry entries that are pointing to that install.

Speedtree is turned off on the beta-server, so this behavior is to be expected.

S.

Is that why my frame rate is so much higher with this beta?

Mac waypoints still don't work, and work worse than in 1.34.

False dawn bug is still in game :(

Random crashes about once per hour or so with no error message.

Otherwise seems to run fine on mac for me.

Did you see anything in the readme stating false dawn was fixed?

I have Un-installed all files related to WWII Online off the C drive and Battleground Europe in documents. How do I/ where do I go to get rid of registry entries?

Uninstalled then you should be ok registry wise. When you install a program it writes the path info to your registry, think of it as a index in a book. Your computer uses that registry info to launch the program. when you uninstall a program those registry entries are removed by the uninstaller. Now if you simply delete a program then the registry entries are still there so if you then reinstall the program and this latest install is in any way different you can have you computer finding conflicting paths in the registry.... The program shows as being on 2 different page numbers in the book so to speak, and your comp can't resolve which is correct.

Now as to editing your registry, unless you already know how it's not something you can just learn as you go. Delete, change the wrong entry and you can hose your operating system.

be nice if you guys would test this stuff before publishing it. I've spent countless hours trying to get this to work and continue to get the same error over and over again. ive installed the complete 1.35 beta and the patch and continue to get this link:

https://secure.wwiionline.com/users/error.jsp?error=nopatch

Unable to find a suitable patch. Please try again later or visit the Downloads Page.

so whats the fix for this?????????????????????????????????????????

Beta=test. Internal testers are very small number as need be so they can stay focused on 1 bug at a time and work closely together.

Closed beta is the builders and reliant on the willingness of the builder community to actually do testing.

Open beta is the "load" test to test that things that appear fixed stay fixed with a high player population as well as see what else might break.

Also a time to find out what else might go awry such as the prob you are having.

Each step in the process is important and while you may not see any traction on a particular problem that doesn't mean none is taking place. It can mean the Devs are simply too busy processing the results and tracking down fixes to reply.

Can someone, please confirm or deny the statement an XP pro system isn't going to be included in this 1.35.13 open beta testing.

I guess the larger question is whether or not an XP pro system is going to be able to run the 1.35 version of the live game?

You do understand that this is exactly the purpose of an open beta right?

I honestly do not know, but considering Win XP is 15 years old i would not be surprised.

I'm experiencing the following error when I try to connect: Authentication Failed: Map Host (40108) Session rejected by host: internal error (loginfail_addplayer) please restart game client.

This is due to the game's DB using old information. We plan to address this as soon as possible (hopefully on or before Monday), but in the mean time new free-to-play accounts still work, so that's an option if you want to see the new changes ASAP.

So today is Tuesday 5/10 -- is this fixed yet? Still getting the same "Auth. Failed" Error at log-in for BOTH my subscription and new FTP accounts.

ezeight65,

The BETA server currently uses a player database that is more than a year old - you had not yet made your account, so according to the BETA server at the moment, you do not exist.

I'm sure this is something they will look at, but I think the bugs they find are a much more pressing issue...

"But in the mean time new free-to-play accounts still work, so that's an option if you want to see the new changes ASAP" Just made my first account today for WW2 online and I am getting this authentication error when launching campaign. I have tried everything in order to get it working to no avail. PLZ!!!! fix this soon!!!!
