Anyone else experiencing download fail? In my case, the 1.35 download progress bar reaches the end, then stops in a failure.

Update!

In my download list, the file is named "wwiiol_1.35.1.255.exe.part" because it "failed" to download. Since I saw the progress bar reaching the end, I just renamed the file and erased the "part" part. Installation was succesfull.

Somewhat surprised that worked, but glad it did!

Well, kinda worked. Now everything is subscription locked. Although I am not sure it is related to my "hack".

Download (Windows 10) worked ok for me this morning US eastern standard time. Game server in maintenance mode however. The Training Server is listed as Open but I get a Subscription Locked message on it. So at this time only off-line mode available to me.

Did you download patch or full install?

I did try the patch but it did the same as the beta did to me.

I then tried the full install after uninstalling Battleground Europe. I installed and

at the end checked the box to put a shortcut on desktop the desktop. When i double

clicked on the Battleground Europe icon i got the error messge i stated above.

Yes i am running Windows XP Pro. Are you changing the system requirements for the game?

I'm going to try to run the game on my laptop; Windows 10 and seperate Video card.

On board graphics but also; AMD Raedon HD 6700M with onboard RAM

As of this moment there is a known issue with windows xp. We thought we had resolved it but it appears to have popped back up. However you still might want to start thinking about upgrading as at some point we will have to drop support for XP and its no longer supported by microsoft!

I figured there was a problem on your end. I'm old too so use to getting XP Pro dissed

because it's old and not supported.

I did install the game on my laptop and because it has Windows 10 and a AMD Raedon HD 6700M with onboard RAM i was able to run it in the offline and online mode. One question

though i noticed the game was running at 32bit can i also run it at 64bits.

Jimato

p.s. i've got someone to do some hardware and software changes to my game computer.

Window 7 64 bit, a Core 2 Quad extreme 9658 processer, SpinQ VT cpu cooler, 240gb solid state HD and add the other 4GB of memory i didn't use because i've been running XP pro.

The game is basicly a 32 bit program but in order to allow more units to be added the 32 bit crash flags were upped. 32 bit programs are flagged by windows to crash when memory usage gets at or near 1.7 gigs usage. By upping those crash flags it removed the limiter on adding more to the game. Later versions of windows still see the game as 32 bit but WinXP sees it as not a 32 bit program because of the changes.

I have windows 10 operation system on the laptop and it recognizes the game as a 32 bit program.

So my XP pro doesn't recognize the game as a 32 bit program, because od the 1.35 changes. It's something more then 32bit or just not 32bit. What is the workaround so

XP can be recognized?

MAJOR fail on my son's Windows 8 computer. I download a fresh version and get this, when I try to run the installer:

This app can't run on your PC

To find a version for your PC, check with the software publisher.

HELP!

-Irish

*EDIT* P.S. I fixed the problem by using the installer downloaded on my Win7 computer, putting it on a flash drive, and transferring it to my son's computer. I ran it there and it worked fine. Would have sucked if I didn't have the other computer to take it from, though.

XP didn't distinguish because it was 32 bit.

Get out of XP mode on you win10 laptop and install the game in Win10.

Get rid of that crappy XP-OS.

I still have a (German) copy of Windows Vista lying around here somewhere I could send you. It's also a pretty crappy OS, but better than running ancient XP. That OS doesn't even support more than, what?, 4 GB of RAM?
