White trails while flying

A couple of times tonight after I jumped into position 3 I caught a glimpse of white vapour trails as if a fighter had just past me at speed. It happened so quick the 1st couple of times I wasn't sure if it wasn't an actual fighter. It happened twice more after that, but this time I was able to see the trails speed off into the distance. It happened so fast I was not able to get screen shot. I don't ever recall seeing this before

When any plane cuts a hard turn or rolls aggressively, the wing tips leave vapor trails.

This has been in this game for years, not a bug AFAIK

I think rans is familiar with vapor-trails..

I think I know what you are talking about.. I've seen some of those as well last night while flying over Waterloo in the Allied DB-7-horde.

Reminded me of the black bars/lines you see in the sky at some locations on the map. Only those white ones weren't persistent for me - the black ones usually are (think they are "bugged" terrain graphics or something).

The white ones looked more like they were player-generated, but I have no idea what could be causing them.

seen it too, sure as hell aint vapor trails. some sort of graphics glitch. Only saw it once or twice in recent beta testing. havent seen it on live server simce 1.35 patched. Then again i havent had time to play at all much as of late.

Also like to report Iv being seeing long white and also black trails or lines appearing when flying..

I figured Rans knew all about the vapor trails, but it really did sound like he was describing them.

Ha, saw them last night flying with the Zulu crew but they were black.

They looked exactly like the vapor trails but were not happening while I was pulling into a turn. Just cruising along. I dot reported.
