Seeing no one on map or flying below me

Like to report another time on Sunday after I got shot down I respawn in and flew towards JCD04 where he was in a dogfight with 4 EA he was telling me where he was yet I could not see him on map or any halos where his position was. The rest of the squad who were flying got there and kept reporting his position I was directly over that position and seen nothing. Never seen or experience that before flying had to land and restart game to get in game map working again and see other planes on mission or in game ..
