It's always a pleasure to camp the spawn campers :D

I noticed it takes longer to load mission from another town on map, maybe by design?

"Did you know ....?" always took long when switching between two "sectors" that are far away from each other.

These days, it takes *ages*. It's almost as bad as loading up the earliest version of the game I've played (black loading screen with a PzIII and a load-bar on it). You'd start the game, leave the house, go to the bank, shop for some groceries, gas up your car, come back home, make a fresh pot of coffee, smoke a cigarette, sit down at your desk, wait another 2 minutes and then the game would be up.

Did you know ...? almost takes this long sometimes now.

Seems the same for me.

During beta testing it was really much faster, but since the new version hit it has slowly gone back up to 1.34 waiting periods.

Is this between all towns or certain ones. The more details we get the easier we can track stuff like this down and correct it.

It's not between *all* towns, but unless I respawn at a certain location, I know that I'll now have to put up with longer than usual waiting times during "Did you know...?".

I'm not sure if it's directly related to distance between towns, either. I haven't kept track of which switch took the longest, but generally speaking when I go from towns in the south (say, around Berry) to towns in the north like Wavre or Aarschott, loading times will be epically long. However: Sometimes switching between two towns that are relatively close to each other takes just as long, so I'm not *really* seeing a pattern here.

I doubt it has anything to do with my PC, but here are my specs:

i5 4670K @4.2 Ghz

2x4 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3

GF GTX 660

Game installed on SSD

I have a 50 Mbit down/10Mbit up VDSL-connection which works great with other games. Ping in WW2ONL used to be 140 - 150 when I could still see it.

A brief case how it could be longer to spawn.

We fight in Tienen.

Allied spawnable in Marle.

Axis and allied are moving and create missions (spawnable for allied, AB for axis)

Queue is loading - people wants to spawn all at once

Loading screen is taking forever

The good thing is that the ones that are used to systematically camp spawning enemy points with tonkas are disadvantaged which is not a bad thing.

Just so you know what "takes forever" means in my case:

2WMN8Sj558w

Unaltered footage, captured with Shadowplay - I just trimmed a few seconds at the start because that was just me chatting with people before actually changing brigades and spawning in.

This was switching brigades/location from the Wavre-area to the Grobbendonk-area. So not *too* great of a distance.
