No missions found so I can't get into game

When I try and join the game the active missions screen displays no missions (this is for any country- US, French, British, etc). When I go to the brigade screen I can see that there are missions going on, and that some have FRU's, but if I click on them it says, "create mission" rather than joining the existing mission. The game acts as if there are no missions. This means that I can not play the game. This same bug happened to me after the last major patch earlier this year. The only advice I got then was to uninstall and then reinstall the game, which I did to no avail. No changes on my side fixed anything, after several weeks and another patch it worked again. This is a reoccurring bug associated with the patches. Please fix it.
