Missing Keystrokes

For future reference.. Since the 1.34.40 patch I've noticed an occasional time when mouse clicks or trigger pulls were not working. LMG shots would shoot 2 or 3 rounds then quit. Setting a fru would show boxes but never could go the next step to get the text box for building it. Very random events, the worst kind.

To solve the problem I deleted the four files generated in the Battleground Europe folder.

ftplog.txt

lg.dat

ww2.log

wwiiol.xml

These four files were regenerated after the game was started again and I did need to reset my video resolution and sound setting. The problem has been fully corrected.

I did notice that there is now a second Battleground Europe folder inside the primary Battleground Europe folder.

The first BE Folder contains:

Battleground Europe folder

cfml folder

WW2.log

wwiiol.xml

The second Battleground Europe sub-folder contains:

ftplog.txt

lg.dat and wwiiol_1.35.3.0-1.35.4.0

I've never noticed there being two BE folders before.

Anyhow take it for what it's worth in the future should anyone come across this.

I would suggest uninstalling the game completely and deleting all folders. The game does funky things with secondary folders.

As Highlander says "There can only be One" folder.
