CP lag is back

Been fixed in the first days 1.35 was launched - looks like people runs a corner and poof, you dead before you can even see him coming. Well, you only see him crossing the corner while you look at your dead camera.

I don't know if the subsequent patches that put these lags back but that's not good, at all. Hopefully, you revisit what has screwed it like it was in 1.34.

Can't be fixed. You have to Contact authorities in Spain and force them to invest in better internet for their population.

Seriously, it was fixed for the first 2 weeks of 1.35, then patches came and lags in CP came back.

Same people still warp or kill you before you see them. Many 250 are like that maybe their internet sucks i seen today a 250 start shooting before he turn the corner of building meanwhile the squady that who was waiting for him cause i war him on ts saw him when he was dead, from my view i saw him start shooting before turn the corner. Hell i shot a guy went pass me and fell dead after 5 secs 250 too. Not all 250 are like that but most are.

Matamor is exactly right. It seemed good for about 2 weeks, but has gotten progressively worse ever since.

And now, the chat is laggy too. wtf!

It's not just in CP's though.

Certainly this "revive" of the "lag" has affected me also. I wondered.

Also..there is that "zipping" sound (like 1 second long)  that existed way  back until a few recent patches. Hard to describe the sound but it's like something dragged across a metal file, zip...zip...zip..

I get it when using infantry...typically while in some bush line or trees.

Very distracting and hurts the ears.

Not just CP's.....

And I thought it was just me.  I experienced this the other night as well but not in a CP.  Was killed along a building wall then the EI turned the corner.........................ITS BACK!!!

Im experiencing it as well. We are all trying to narrow it down right now on where it could be coming from. There are unfortunately a bunch of variables we are tracking right now.

No worries, we are all in this together. The beautiful thing of having a volunteer team that plays the game is that anything you guys are having issues we are as well.

I can tell you I have my entire QA team working on narrowing this down. I know the DEVs, the GM and CM team are all involved with this as well. It is a top priority.

Most important is the change after the original 1.35 install, where additional patches, have changed the lag/load situation back to "not so good".

Focus on that :)

1. 35 initially was very fast loading and no lag at all for me.

Anyway...keep working on it.

I've been crying about this for weeks. It's sooo frustrating to be defending or capping a CP and bam! you're dead before you have a chance to react. It seems to be the same several players that have this advantage, not to mention the 250 boys from Spain. In the Beta there was none and it was so awesome to be able to defend a CP and have an honest chance. As in real life, whoever sees their enemy first should have the advantage, not whoever has more (or less) lag. Thanks for prioritizing this, OHM.

We have been testing several different variation of fixes. Some have introduced other issues that we felt were worse. But we do believe we are getting closer!
