What happened to the Mac version?

Prior to this latest update it seemed to be working fine. Now every once in a while, the screen freezes, I still hear the sounds of the game but nothing moves. The game locks for 20-30 seconds and then resumes. The lag is terrible, even when I'm plugged directly into my modem (rather than wifi) and I have a very fast connection. Also, the frame rate now varies widely, going from 5 fps to 50 and back again.

Any chance there's a fix in the works?

Do you run Teamspeak by chance?

If so make sure it is minimized as it is known to cause FPS issues.

I run teamspeak on my laptop and it definitely lags the game. But on my desktop...where it hadn't before...now the game seems to be affected.

Can you clarify with this additional information if you were running TS minimized when you experience the lag?

I am running the latest Mac OS on a 2010 iMac with 16 GB of ram and ATI Radeon hd 5750 1024 mb video card

2.93 ghz Intel i core  7  chip

i typically leave open the  teamspeak app in the background on the desktop so I can see names of people

i don't minimize it down to the dock

does that help?
