Mac Patches not downloading

Every time a new patch comes out, I am forced to download the game again fully, because when I try to update the game from the application itself, it never starts downloading. 

The patch download window pops up, but no matter how long I wait, it still says, "waiting for download to begin". Is there a fix for this problem? It has happened ever since I downloaded the game first in May, and it is aggravating to keep downloading and downloading the game over and over again, even for just a small quick fix patch.

Yes, I use a Mac. Is there some sort of problem with the updates if I use one?

I believe the Mac version needs to download the full version each time a new patch comes out...in other words the Mac patcher is broken

I would that CRS is looking into it. I'm sure that I am not the only one affected.

Everyone hit the download server near the same time might be the issue

All Mac users have to download the full installer every time. We know this is kind of a drag, but it does happen automatically now (which is nice), before it didn't even do that. Mac patching is on the list of many things to do, but it will be some time yet.

Meanwhile we're consistently updating the game providing fixes and new content.
