Odd slow motion.

S! All. Oddity here I've been experiancing today out of the blue. I'm not sure if it's game related or something this end.

I'll try describe as best I can.

Everything is slow, I guess about 7/10th's or 8/10th's or 9/10th's slower.

Fps is normal if not a bit higher than my ussual 60 since the server switch. I'm a veteran, I know how the game feels/operates at a player level.

So, I walk. Feels slow. I run, Feels slow (and can't keep up with others on full staminia) when they run. I aim, slow. Even when I fall off something, feels slow. In the opel, it's say's 80kmph but it's slow. Flying Slow. Really, really odd.

Everyone I see in game looks to be moving as expected, when I shoot the enemy, nothing seems odd (except the whole slow to draw etc).

Best example I see is when I reload a gun. Sound happens as expected but the animation is out of time, most noticable the longer it takes to reload (G41 for instance). Sound appears to be uneffected.

It's occurring offline as well as online. Tried a restart and reinstall.

N.B I'm sober.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Played around with the video settings, all the way up and down. Got nothing, apart from realising I can get my fps to 150+ with everything turned off. This is a consistant and smooth slow motion.

Can you get video of this?

And, post your computer specs.

Hey OldZeke, thanks for the reply.

So I set out to make a recording, I downloaded OBS. On setting it up I was having an issue with the recording's audio being choppy. Brother suggested checking and updating the sound driver, which we did, then restarted. This consequently solved the recording of sound nicely...

So I loaded up the game and everything's back to normal....

Not sure if it was the restart or the sound driver, either way I'm sort of a little bit disapointed I can't get to show what it was like!

Alas; Everythings fine now and I can record gameplay as a bonus...

Yeah, I'm really quite mystified as to what it was, or how it was fixed! But indeed, it's all golden now.

Thanks OldZeke. All the best. S!

Heh...

That reminds me of a magazine article from back in the day, "What if your car was like a computer."

"My car won't run right, so I called my friend who's a mechanic, to see if he had any ideas.  The first thing he told me to try was shut it off and start it again.  Then, he said to close all my windows and try opening one at a time."
