ei not rendering

I'm noticing it more and more. From my perspective it seems to be a growing problem since netcode3 has been turned on.

I have seen this, or rather not Seen this,The way it manifests on my  Front  end is that they sort of Flickr  like if a guy is running up the steps and I'm laying there waiting for them I won't see him appear at the bottom of the stairwell but rather I'll see a flash of him halfway up and then again at the top so it's almost like stop motion but it happens in flicker, if that at all follows, and-of course he kills me  because I cant shoot at a target like that, this is rare but it has happened a few times and I play the game a lot.

And I still see a lot of bulletproof infantry or infantry to take a lot of hits before they go down on my front end or infantry that I shoot and then they turn around and shoot me and I'm not talking one or two bullets but you know like a half a clip blood splatter ect...  I wouldn't say that this has improved since the change to me it seems about the same.

Was it in a large battle?  There is a top-end visibility limiter.   Though usually it'll stop rendering whatever branch you are not first (Ie if you're inf, you may not see any aircraft).  If same branch units were starting to blink in/out sounds like a good many players may have been present.

My thoughts also B2k.

You can up the player unit vis. I think default is the 64 limit but you can do 128.  That being said the biasing should take the vis limit priority to enemy units in closest proximity.. I think a hallway encounter should have biased in the enemy unit.  For ground units IIRC the first to go in the bias is friendly AC, then enemy AC. Distant/med range friendly infantry>Friendly AFV>enemy infantry>enemy AFV>close in friendly units> etc... close proximity enemy units should bias in.  If they are not biasing in at close proximity there is either a massive local population causing some sort of lag or the biasing is not working properly.

Yes, the flicker, was (were)in a big fight(s),but close quarters, like just the two of us the building, and this has happened a few times.

It was happening to me too, couldn't see anyone, friendlies or enemies alike. I turned off netcode3 and it was working like normal.

Brady's description of the phenomenon is similar to what I have experienced while netcode3 was active. In my case it was outside at close range near an fru and an ei just seemed to teleport from point to point at close quarters. With netcode3 deactivated I have yet to see this extreme effect repeated but lag issues still exist even without netcode3.
