Churchill v 232

Twice recently Iv died in a Churchill (not too sure if 3 or 7)in a frontal attack from a 232,it seems strange for this to happen given the relative armour v fire power of these 2 vehicles. Should this happen? On both occasions my nos 2and 3 died leaving driver and bow mg alive. Not sure if it's a bug or it's viable.

Was your commander up? In principle HE shells exploding on your commanders head could kill your gunner with fragments..

No I'm sure commander was down.

Used to be a big armor leak on the front of the c7. Some people say it's fixed, but 4 or 5 intermissions ago I blew a few to pieces with the stugG from 1500m frontally. That shouldn't be happening. 

I'll get on the training server sometime this week and see if I can get some video of it.

Did you have the driver unbuttoned? if so that's a open hole into the tank.

I mean I watched a Tiger with a open hatch get bombed by 4 Wing over the weekend at least 10 bombs on target and shrugged it off. Weird things happen sometimes.

Was it the same killer? Might be a player that found an exploit.

Are you sure you were not under fire from someone else, steal killing can happen on this game rarely but it does I have shot with lmg at tanks and got the kill while I saw a tank kill that enemy tank at the same time.

 

It should be impossible what you are describing if it happens again make sure you driver was not unbutton, go to the combat stats on the website check your sortie make sure the killer was indeed that 20mm 232 and report the player to crs maybe even contact him to get his version of the sortie.

Its still there though I don't think its as bad as the HE to the right front tread leak but the CH7, and CH3 I think suffers the same leak. I died to a pak38 in one a while ago at 1k first hit frontally.  I take the Cru3 over the Churchills most the time anyway because if your hit you expect to die.  One of my last CH7 sortie I died to a 4G at 1200m frontally trading shots - 1200m with the QF75 is not quite lazer beam accurate and I survived several hits losing a track. I have not read about any audits since then for the 1.36 patch but something is definitely wrong with them.
