So you'd think this pz is dead, right?  Well he drove around flaming for at least 14 minutes game time between the time he was killed and the time

he finally popped.  At times 3 allied tanks and an atg were hitting him and he just kept driving around.  Twice he rolled up and parked on the

spawn point at an allied FMS.

I have fraps and the player name if anyone is interested.

Several of us .reported  this and at least one of our squad members rage quit over this.

In my opinion, driving around in a flaming tank is not the players fault, a CRS issue.

Parking on the spawn point is a different thing, think its called greifing or something simmilar.

Not acceptible at all in my opinion.

This has happened to me , as the driver you are actually unaware that you are engulfed in flames, you hear the ping ping sound like you are brewing up but all positions show no effect . No black screen ,no crew member so and so killed or hit in whatever bodypart. Nothing  you actually think u are still at full combat strengh.

Yes I would say this is a CRS issue ,it happens once in a blue moon and yes it can be frustrating if you are on the other end of it.

I got kicked by the rat that was online and rightfully so. A simple pm please despawn would have done the trick too cause like I said u in the Tank are oblivious to your condition besides the ping ping sound.

Now with him driving onto or parking by the FMS again major CRS design flaw. I understand the ATG and AAA need to get away from the spawn point but a few well placed Tank barriers would solve that problem and not let a Tank do that.

Having said that the Stug has no MG ,limited Ammo , him running INF over is one way to keep a FMS surrpressed till friendlies show up.

I have done it with a Stug and I have done it with a Pak36 . If I would have not done it with the Pak36 nor the Stug I would have been an easy target when I stumbled across the EFMS.  That way I kept them long enough surrpressed till help arrived.

So in other words maybe the FMS needs to be redesigned with 2 exits . You can't hate the player that used the tools given to him to make them work effectively in his favor. Yes it sucks , but then how often have you come across the flaming unkillable Tank.

14 min is a long time must have had no Rat online at that time.

CRS fault or player fault, in anycase.

The moment you are hit by everyside especially in a tank know to be fragile in the side. It should blow up.

You know this isnt real life right?

If the tanker was having connection problems and dropping packets, something may have been missed...

The simple solution to having a truck or tank drive over the spawn point at a FMS is to spawn a ATG. You wont be killed but you will blow them to kingdom come. Had a stugG that lost his gunner roll over the infantry spawn point at the FMS so I spawned a AA gun which was clipped inside the stugG when I spawned in fired off about 3 clips and I exploded it. The hulk settled outside the spawn point and acted like a bunker wall from a 232 taking long range shots at it and allowed a ATG gun to spawn and dispatch it. It was most satisfying.

Usually when people camp a FMS. They camp in a way they can immediatly MG to death the ETG.

Killed multiple ones with my PZ III last time I did.

We'd love an update.

I resubbed for the coming HE audit results and what I've seen from Scostman and Hatch has been pretty good stuff.

A patch that remedies some problems playerside would be timely. Can't wait.

The way to solve this is to put a tank trap several feet in front of the opening. That way you cant block the entrance/exit.

So building a gun emplacement in the FB vie spawn is ok?

Someone just have to spawn an engi to blow it...........
