Not really an option for me. Change language or making more user accounts. Have to wait for Probst fix.

for info have Danish win but use no Danish charector in parth.

Entering at my computer with another user (administrador in this case) created a new documents folder for the game.

And settings are being saved. Able to set resolution and other things and wwiiol.xml is keeping the changes and game is running OK.

So the problem might come from the path where the setting are being saved.

In my case is C:\Users\iñaki\Documents\Battleground Europe

Anyone else with this and having also similar path in regards to the characters?

It work for me, 

just added another acount on windowns that i named "game" change my language 2 english, and it worked.

 

however i would like to play in my main acount, but as temporarly its ok.

Sorry for not answering before, but i've been out all the week, and great since it worked for you at the end.

Waiting a solution also for this since it is a mess for me to have to swicht between accounts to play...
