New Player confirmation emails not received

the following mail servers appear to have playnet blacklisted
New players will NOT be able to create their accounts
THe below mail hosts never receive any email that comes from @Playnet.com, not even as spam.

@yahoo.com
@att.net
@juno.com
@netzero.com
@aol.com
@yandex.com
@location.rr.com (time warner roadrunner)
@brighthouse.net

hotmail.com outlook.com work

This needs addressed before steam or need to ditch the email confirmation or something
wont be good if people can not create accounts just because they never receive the email

That's a major problem - and explains persistant reports of email failures

This is a known issue 

 

As for steam users they do not have to do the email confirmation as steam would have already done that when they sign up to steam when they created there steam accounts.

As for players trying to join not by steam and getting the email they should submit a support ticket and we will manually activated them. We do this a lot now.

I understand that you can and will do this, but creating yet another account in the ticket system, and then having to submit a ticket and wait
just to become a player will be a put off to a lot of people except the ones who simply refuse to accept failure that easily.

What about the possibility of doing some kind of capitcha type thing or something.

 

Looks like it may be an IP block ban, mayhaps previous owner of your IP address was a bad boy?
