unusually frequent rain

not sure if its because of the recent server resets on thurs/fri/sat but:

1. there is rain more frequently in game than over the past 6-10 months  (like at least once every day/night cycle)

2. on extended AFK (more than 5m) when respawning there is a burst of rain (like the old old old explosion audio bug when spawning at an ab veh spawn)

don't think it effects gameplay and many of the new players seem surprised and pleased at the rain/weather effects, but perhaps this frequent rain may be either a clue or a symptom of some of the tons of new players/server instability issues.

I have not seen it rain today at all but friday it did rain in game, tapered off, sky lightened a bit, but then darkened up and started pouring again, this time really hard.

Planes were still flying (I got wacked by DB7 eggs) so it did not stop pilots much.

The new people though, i kept hearing people saying omg it rains?? this has weather?? etc.

The rain made for a whole different feel and everything to combat. It muffled sound, vis was unclear, mist obscured the far distance.
It definitely made for an eerie foreboding tone to the battle .
All the new people i saw loved it.

I think a certain unnamed person should continue to tweak the weather cycling algorithm.
Now if they could eventually get weather patterns to move across cells, that would be super cool

I noticed that I sometimes spawn in inside a cloud of explosion smoke, no audio though.

Never thought much about it before I saw this mentioned here, like the towed gun "rocket launcher"
