[OS X] mouse hover details not showing

When I hover the mouse over player icons on the map, or marks reported on the map, the details (player name, distance, "reported by x, y, seconds ago") do not pop up.

This was broke when I rejoined a couple of months ago, then the pre-steam patch (the one with the fix for killing infantry clones offline) release seemed to fix this. This is broke again after the 1.35.9.6 release.

Think this is 'new tooltips' in prefs?  I've had this before and there is a setting for it, or was.

Preferences tab then click UI section. On right under font setting is tooltips. Check it on.

tested this on my Mac and there was no issue.. As mentioned, maybe its turned off in the settings?

Yep. I goofd and it was the tooltips setting. I thought it did something else. Feel free to close.
