At some point, would it be possible to have a password 'remember me' check box on the log in? 

There used to be one, but it was removed as a requirement for the China project.

it was removed so people dont forget their password anymore. Bigger problem than you'd think.

As it happens, when I first started playing the game it was on a Mac. I bought a PC when my Mac couldn't cope with the game anymore. My wife uses a Mac all the time.
