Just to report this graphical issue that is very difficult to overcome when you get it, if I go afk and my monitor turns off possible the graphics card downclocks and get then I get back to the game.

The screen gets all glitchy with squares instead of letters, lot of colored squares that used to be pixels, the game also starts switching from being a background application and then being selected like you do with alt + tab this makes very difficult to terminate the game, since you cant alt + f4 you have to open task manager and selected the ww2ol process to terminated it.

Hi pb, I run with the 1080 but i'll try to recreate your issue. As a matter of course I try not to let any game run as a background application as you may starve it of resources (I recall many a mem failure leaving a game alt tabbed, and returning to it after an hour).

What OS are you running?

Disable sleep mode from power settings, so it never goes to sleep.

You may also want to just set the computer to run at best performance and dimiss all of the power saving nonsense. That stuff is for people who don't play games or walk away a lot and WANT it to sleep.

We don't.
