Hi. Unable to play for 3 days.

I have a good connection from what i know. Using cable (not wifi). Optical fiber and the only user in the router. Im at North side of spain.

Tried on normal active town and alone in a lonely AF far from anyone (to eliminate the user vis limit variable)

My ping looked stable and no packet loss ( ping auth.playnet.com -a -t)

Please do the following:

1. Run a tracert to auth.playnet.com and send us the results (don't recommend posting personal details on the forums, just send directly to us/me - frisbone@corneredrats.com)

2. Run speed test to (www.speedtest.net) making sure you choose a server (fort worth, TX) - send results

3. Download WinMTR (if PC), run for 5 minutes during a period that you usually play, and send results

If none of these things produce any hints as to what might be going on then we'd like to work with you one-on-one to help isolate the issue.

I just ran the speed test. Got 56m 71m 6m.

My question is, in game my ping is near 20 all the time. Basically no difference for 10 years.

Have even upgraded my cable to fastest and no change. Others have said they got changes when you guys upgraded.

So, WTF over?

Am looking to get a new computer in the new year when the sales happen (its getting old now). Just want to know why no change in like forever.

Thanks for the new vehicle in game.

 

Just thought of something. When aiming the main gun on a tank (allied) and the atg (allied). Why does it not remain on mark? I shoot (the 76mm) and have a hit. I align the next shot at the same location on the reticle and it is a miss (lands greater distance from target, 3-5m beyond). This is very consistent. Now, a little background on me. I used to repair ATG and TANK main guns (Late 60's to 1980). It was all mechanical. When you have the range, the same spot on the reticle will always give you the same results (+/- 1m). The results on the 1940's tank should not differ very much (max +/- 1.25m). Would you please audit this.

The game has not shown ping for quite awhile now. How are you seeing game ping?

Due to my forced to despawn problems Frisbone, Oldzeke and mwhitman helped me to set a good test bed and resulted that despite I was not having any heavy lag the system clock was being slowered and appeared out of Sync with severs... which resulted on my poor persona being kicked.

I have an old motherboard with old CPU. 

Its a ASUS 6PT and i7 920 (from 2009) and looks like that with the original motherboard there was a program called EPU-6 Engine.

Once Support team noticed the clock problems i checked my system and found it.

I had it running since pffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff and didnt even noticed running on background as service. 

I had it set on a minimun running margin, so the CPU fan was not making noise and well, my computer was working fine... except with new games with high requirements, in which my performance was pathetic, but I was taking it as "normal" (time goes by), 8 yo computer, ...

But well, I deactivated it, my cpu fan started to rotate at much higher speed and making noise and gained like 30-40 fps 

And no more forced to despawn happened.

Still have to see how to lower this madness sound somehow without ruining my gameplay, but if you have this problem and you have a good connection, game running quite ok and never called "laggy" player, check if you have something similar or if you running an ASUS, check for this one (its completely deprecated and looks like they moved to another called turbo-V).

And see if you can disable it for a while and if it is the evil.

It was not fps, it was a program that came with his motherboard to change CPU speed that was declocking his CPU. And it was what was causing his despawns

We tested with Fiambre on a server that has the code active. His issues is just as he posted. The Asus overclocking app that came with his mobo. He was using it to quiet his cpu fan and it was declocking his cpu below the stock speed which is why disabling the app caused his fps to increase. His cpu now runs at it's normal speed.

 blkfalcon, he worked closely with the dev team (as frisbone was asking for people willing to work with him) to find his issue. frisbone was able to quickly narrow down that it was a clock issue of some sort. I believe they will be turning the despawn back on at map restart, you will be able to see if your still effected or not. don’t give up if you are. we are trying to work with anyone willing to work with us.

CRS does not make changes in the game just for the propose of being mean to someone. Period.

Changes are made in a attempt to improve gameplay for all or at least the vast majority of the p[layer base.

The "unkillabe" code is such a attempt. Trying to prevent players from getting so out of sync with the rest that they end up appearing as not killable.

This was tested for several months, after researching and trying every way thinkable to reproduce getting into such a de-synced state.

And we will continue to test and research it.

No idea where all this came from, I was just curious as to how it was tested. I never mentioned or inclined that I was being targeted.

I work in the field of industrial code and automation. I know how it's suppose to function.

Interesting

I am familiar with EPU 6, but never installed it on the PC i had an asus MOBO in, mostly because its constantly trying to see how low it can turn things down and keep running.
Most motherboards also come with a similar utility, supposed to let your PC run at the lowest power noise and heat necessary to do whatever it is doing.
I think most now can even do this completely in the UEFI bios with no OS side software needed. AMD cool N quiet i am pretty sure can run 100% bios side.

These threads are getting tiresome.  I've encouraged EVERYONE to contact me directly and so far only Fiambre has followed up.  If you want your individual solutions solved then contact me - but lets let these threads go please.  Nothing is resolved by complaining about things that you don't know anything about or pointing out those complaining.  Blkfalcon - just contact me please.  At this point I don't even know what your issues are as these threads are too confused now.  Any mods around - consider locking these threads so anyone having issues contacts me.  A final note: this has been turned off for two days now - any issues you are having at this point are not related to this feature.  It will be turned back on soon so if you were having issues you'll want to contact me so we can resolve your individual issues.
