Agree 100%. It's been almost half a year. Anyone and everyone who downloads and installs this game for the first time and naively sets graphics to maximum will see this ridiculous bug. Shouldn't fix be priority #1?

FWIW, I can't play without normal maps (the loss of normal maps is a bridge too far in terms of the game's graphics for me).

It's now been half a year. I've deactivated my Hero account and switched to vanilla premium until this is fixed. Really disappointed...

All I can say is sorry, we know what the problem is but other more urgent development priorities have to get done first.  Please remember that we are a volunteer team here spending a couple of hours in the evening working on this game (if life allows).
