I've always ran this old i7 overclocked to 3,5ghz. This is a i7 920 with a stock speed of 2.66ghz.

I'm testing now on a server with it running at 4.3ghz and 3 accts spawned but my temps are still only running 80/83c so I doubt it'll despawn me.

Time will tell.

I'd have to play with the ram voltages to get any higher and it's been too long, can't remember exactly how to without hosing things up.

15 minutes spawned and no auto despawn on any o the 3 accts so I'm not thinking a OC has any ill effect.

It did for me on my i7 950, had to tune it down some.

The splitter problem was giving me up to 3% packet loss, new hiperf splitter fixed that. Was getting constant despawn.

But I was still getting it now and then, hardly at all, but still,,brought the OC down (it's still above stock) and haven't despawned yet, in many hrs of gameplay.

Yea to extreme OC can cause windows errors.... I just reinstalled windows after the above excursion. Was needing a reinstall anyways as sometimes it would error on bootup.

In my case I look at my ISP. It is the Gen 4 satellite which promised 15Mbps download and 2Mbps upload. The download part is fine, the upload part is sometimes 0.9 or 0.20Mbps which is much to slow. I'm looking now to upgrade  to the new Gen 5 satellite which promise 25Mbps download and a 3Mbps upload. It also has the router build in the modem. Does anyone have any experience with the new Hughes Gen 5 satellite?

I have only had 1 forced despawn..............so far.  Holds breath.

Does anyone know why this has all of a sudden occured when it did not in the past?.......and why is it our systems when they were perfectly fine before?

Not a complaint just curious.

CRS instituted a "fix" in the last patch for the unkillable EI problem. In doing so, the metrics they're using have apparently flagged and subsequently forced despawned far more players than actual unkillable EI seen in game. It is a work in progress and we're all holding our breath that they can come up with something that doesn't despawn killable players.

There is always going to be some kind of latency issues with Satellite broadband.

Hey Jerron, i checked with the Devs and they are still working on a few things.

In the mean time, head over to DSL Reports and visit the Hughes Net Satellite sub forum.

Maybe some of the posters there can help you tweak something or give you advise or recommendations.

Keep us updated please.

If you are getting the auto despawn pretty regular then submit a support ticket.

The Devs have been good at going 1 on 1 to help figure out what's happening.

Update. A few days after my contact with Hughesnet tech support I noticed when I used testmy.net, that my upload speed was between 900 kbps to 1.3 Mbps. They might have changed some setting on their side. The past 4 days I was able to play again, sometimes for hours without a forced despawn. So in my case the upload speed was probably the culprit.

I have these despawn isiies too, but I’m on sattilite often so I just assume it’s that. Although I do think it’s a more recent issue. I was not getting that when I first re- enlisted.
