Stuart suddenly appeared out of nowhere, trapping me inside

In ~17 years, this is without a doubt the single weirdest bug I have ever encountered in this game.

 

Last night, I was an engineer standing just outside of the WAB bunker in Abbeville. The WAB was secure and other Axis players were standing around keeping guard. Suddenly, a Stuart (I think??) materialized out of thin air right on me, leaving me stuck inside of it. Nobody else saw it, only me running in place. I tried to kill the crew and even used satchels (which didn't hurt me), but nothing happened. Nobody else saw the Stuart. I have screenshots; how do I post them?

 

The only thing I could do was despawn. When I returned to the spot where the Stuart was, it was gone.

that’s a new one.. not even sure how to begin replicating that one.. lol. let us know if it happens again and how long your game had been running. I have seen the game so weird things after several hours on end of running.

I remember a thread a few years back that mentioned "ghosts" from previous spawned in units, this looks like the same thing.

@scking It might be worth digging for the thread/report and ask around at rat HQ for that artifact.

Hardlead is correct about the ghosts.  Every so often on a very rare occasion it will happen.  Last time I saw one was 4 or 5 maps ago sitting in an air field hangar in a DB7 and all the sudden the AIR aaa guns start blasting away at me and I am getting rocked. I'm looking around to see what is up and there is a JU87 right next to me in the hangar in which I freaked a bit. I deployed my Top gunner and shot at it but TBH It was hard to tell if I was actually hitting it with all the AI AAA ripping into the hangar.  I despawned and respawned and no AA was going off and no JU.
