Running 2 accounts...

...has gotten worse for me.

Every time my main account either CTDs, or loses chat, or just plain crashes, while my tow account is always fine.

Since the autodespawn thing was activated if you play with 2 accounts the CTD is very frecuent.

More so if you run both on same PC
Seems one of the game instances will get network priority over the other, and one will lag out.
Run on 2 separate pc's seems to be fine for the most part

It's basically keeping me from resubbing.  I use 2 accounts all the time and it's just not worth it with the hassle of having to relog every sortie.

Are you running them on one PC ?

Yes, alt-tabbing between them. Been doing it almost since I started playing, always had a few CTDs, but lately it's been crazy with the amount of CTD/disconnects.

MAybe giving us your PC specs so we can figure this out

Run the DXdiag and post it here or email it to me ohm@corneredrats.com

Dont know how much you know about the inside of a PC , but maybe unplugging it and removing the cover and making sure the memory chips and other removable stuff is secure on the motherboard.

Also make sure the cooling fins are clean

Fwiw, I typically run 2-3 accounts all from one PC when I play and I almost never have any issues.  No auto-despawns, no CTDs, nothing.

Very rarely, during long stints, one of the instances will freeze up.  But that's nothing new for me and very minor in the grand scheme of things.

Looking at your DXDiag i see the Dell supportassist is giving a lot of errors and hanging up.  I suggest to try and disabling it and then try running the game.

Doing some research on this and it looks to be causing some issues for other dell users also

I've had 1 Dell in the past and it gave all sorts of problems.

I strongly suggest to do what Ohm is suggesting here, @moe5000.

Thanks guys. I deleted the whole thing.  Googled it and it seems it's nothing but garbage and a headache.

Will report back here if that solves the problem.

How do you run two accounts? Two different machines, or on one? Thx in advance

Depends on PC
Both ways can work

You can play with two accounts on a single PC computer, by starting the application, then alt-tabbing out and starting the application again. As Merlin51 says you need to have some decent specs on your PC, plus a pretty good internet connection.

You MUST play with both accounts on the same side, not one on each, same goes with the household in general, as this could get you banned, even if your intentions are good, it's against the terms of service.

I have my second account mrgarand2 which i use to watch 1 FB while my main account watches another or takes another down, I found it best in my situation i have 2 harddrives installed copy of the game on each and runs pretty smooth.

Can also do this if you have a single drive with more than 1 partition.

I personally prefer to run 2nd account on a separate computer (cheap laptop). Its only used for towing or similar to mrgarand garrison duties.

And with garrisons coming it is easier to run resupply if you have it open on another dedicated screen :D
