Server Lag Since the Server Switched Locations

Title says it all.  I've been getting word from people that server lag seems to have gotten worse since the server changed locations, especially those in US Prime.  I personally haven't noticed that much since I've been playing mostly TZ3, but fwiw I did get my first auto-despawn ever since the server switched locations.

I think a repeating .system Message to let the players know this is being looked into would be a good thing (it is being looked into, right?).

We have been investigating server and network issues. Both Development and Operation teams have been keeping a close eye on it trying to narrow down the issue(s)..

It took you (CRS) a week to publicly acknowledge and inform some of the players that you've been working on the server and network -related issues. You can, and should do better than that.

Because there hasn't been. But what i've gathered, there has been in-game reports as well as complaints about it in chat. Players, including me, have brought it up on Discord. You guys have to start gathering information from other mediums, instead of solely relying on forums. I've had this discussion now with multiple people on CRS team outside of forums.

Also don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to single out anyone here. Communicating and/or checking for information shouldn't be solely on one persons shoulders.

Thanks for the update..

Well I am working with the Com-Dev team to work on a way for my team to better communicate with those who do .bug reports.. Not sure how long it will take to implement though..

Good to hear. One step forward to a better communication between the team and the playerbase. It's not rocket science.

Can confirm, been auto despawned 3-4 times this week always during RDP flights, we made jokes pertaining to CRS mutiny lol . Didn't realize it was the server thought it was my side so no bug report.
