vehicle control problems since new patch

Since the latest patch none of my j/s work  my mouse also does not work with vehicles. Turrets and weapons work but nothing I do can operate the steering , gas and brakes. I have never come across this problem before.

go into the keymapper and on the bottom right there is a pull down menu that says “with joystick” and “without joystick” IIRC.. make sure it says “with joystick”

Thanks for your reply but I've already done that, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game without success. The vehicle engine starts and the revs immediately move to about halfway and using the y axis  accelerates the engine to about 3000 rpm but the revs only decrease when I physically move stic back to the zero position and then only slowly.If I put the vehicle into gear the throttle movement has no further effect( doesn't accelerate at all). The turret turns normally and the weapons elevate ,depress and fire normally.

temporarily move your CFML folder so the game can not use it (dont delete it)
then fire up game, offline mode is fine
See if the vehicles at least respond properly to the default keymaps, without the instant reving thing you meantion.

It sounds like some kind of conflict in keymaps, doing the above will at least let you see for sure.

If it works fine like that, then try to remap some controls
