We have so many players that are AFK. Also, my inner [censored], tells me that some players put their character on the other side and to influence the balance. is there anything in place against that?

Afaik, if a player has an account logged on both sides, the Rats/GMs can see if these accounts have the same IP.  If they do, they get the boot.  Not sure if it's automated or if it needs to be manually done.

I'm also not sure what will happen if they use a proxy for their second account.  CRS might not be the wiser without player reports in that case.

Rats can do nothing if their char normally plays one side, but then logs out and just logs in on the other side and stays there. i didn't mean playing both sides at the same time.

I do not believe it is necessarily an auto-boot if they detect that. Otherwise, you would think that they would just side-lock u based on ip rather than game name. I guess once upon a time a family or room mates (or something) would play from the same connection, on different sides, and it was legit. Or maybe just in theory ... that i am not sure.

Think BMW and BMW junior are one of those cases, as are people that are behind the same NAT router like dorms, some apartment complexes, lan parties etc
