Truck MIA.

How come a truck MIA comes back in 15 minutes, instead of 15 hours?

Is that the same for aircraft?

I thought MIA was supposed to be the same as KIA in terms of resupply ticket?

You're reading that wrong.  The truck goes to Miami.

This fixed in the next bug patch?
MIA trucks still return in 15 minutes - not 15 hours.

Do all MIA vehicles return in 15 min?  Aircraft?  Ships?

I will take a look at this.. There are some other rules involved with supply besides MIA/KIA/RTB/Rescue.. There are some anti-griefing rules in there somewhere as well.

Yes, but those all consider KIA, not MIA, best I know.

I don't know, you are deep in enemy territory, just turn around and drive back towards friendly FB/town for RES/RTB?
Though, can kinda see the case for truck gets RES next to MS.

Ok.. looking through some old tickets and a few tests, it seems with MIA if you have no enemy-inflicted damage it will return to supply after 15 minutes. If you receive any enemy-inflicted damage (even a plink) it will have a full RDP ticket.

Is that with infantry?  Guns?  Aircraft?  Vehicles?  Ships?

Guess I could go test them all, but pretty sure they are not all consistent.

What is it, is MIA 15 hours?  or 15 min?

Or are you saying there are various levels of MIA that we are not aware of?
(pretty sure an engr at FB that goes MIA with no damage does not return in 15 min)

It applies to all weapons it seems..

MIA with enemy inflicted damage - Full RDP

MIA with no enemy-inflicted damage - 15 minutes

idk wth is going on anymore.

Drove a truck completely into enemy town to test, of course get killed by enemy  - can't even test anymore.

Drove another truck completely into town, parked by AB, and got RES?  What is with that?  I have never seen a truck get RES at an enemy AB?

I tried to test, can't do it.

Please check every combination of INF, VEH, GUN, AIR, SHIP with MIA and no damage and what happens.

Something completely messed up now.

Just drove rifle to enemy FB and got RTB ???   Never seen that happen in 10 years. (actually couple rare exceptions where another FB is close)

Just drove truck to enemy FB and get RES ???  Never seen that happen either.

I give up.

Truck MIA in enemy area still comes back fast, like RES; just tested.

Exactly how does MIA work and with which units?

Thought MIA is supposed to be gone for full RDP time, just like KIA?

If your from a town with a naval garrison, you will get rtb often from the enemy fab. Res for trucks I believe.

Navy has no trucks.

I don't understand why MIA has so many different meanings.

Would like them all explained, or made consistent.

Either MIA means something, or it doesn't.  How do I know one MIA from another?

Here is what I was able to dig up from old information. I am pretty sure it’s current but don’t have time to confirm that at the moment.

KIA with enemy-inflicted damage (triggers at 1 joule of damage) - Full RDP

KIA with no enemy-inflicted damage (eg crash into a tree) and TOM of less than 3 Minutes - 15 minutes

KIA with no enemy-inflicted damage and TOM of more than 3 minutes - Full RDP

MIA with enemy-inflicted damage - Full RDP

MIA with no enemy-inflicted damage - 15 minutes

RES with critical damage - Full RDP

RES without critical damage - 15 minutes

RTB without critical damage to a different Bde or Div - 15 minutes

RTB without critical damage to the origin Bde or parent HQ - 0 minutes (Immediate)

RTB with critical damage - Full RDP

Is there a difference between something with a motor or not?

The above seems to hold true for vehicles, but not infantry.

If I MIA an engr at enemy FB, it is gone full RDP.

He just said if no critical damage 15 minutes no?

He did, but I'm saying that is not what happens.

Engr MIA takes full RDP, truck MIA takes 15 minutes.  How come the difference?  (neither has damage)

Should just make it all consistent every time, maybe something like this?: (critical damage with any would still be full RDP time)

KIA - full RDP

MIA - 6 hours

RES - 20 min

RTB - 0 min

Don't worry about damage states etc.  Just make it simple and consistent across all units.

Can we just fix MIA ?

Any unit that has MIA should have RDP timer 1/2 KIA timer - regardless of state.

Make it simple and consistent.
