Ok, I've given up :(
But, doing some tests here and there.

 

There are many changes to FB busts now that I see; just tested.

First, VEH infantry HE is now 5%, not 5.5%;  INF seems the same.

Second, engrs RTB at FBs now, instead of MIA. (hmm, tested another FB and got MIA.. but was cross river)

Third, trucks RES at FBs now, instead of MIA. (same as above)

Fourth, points are now 20, not 10.

 

So, many things have changed.  Where are all these changes coming from????

UPDATE:   seems truck (and engr) is still MIA near FB, must have picked 2 in a row during testing that were bugged.

But the last few seemed to go MIA.  idk.

some things have changed: 

1.  HE charges on INF tents STILL do 5.5% damage but only 5% on Veh (was 5.5) - as per Delems note.  this may have to do with changes to veh tents being bombable by air. or not
2.  ENG or any unit get RTB at SOME FBS - but this was always the case and seems inconsistent - always happened even  years ago; might have to do with proximity of other, different friendly fbs
3. TRUCK RES at FBS? sometimes, but not always, seems related to point #2

I've gotten RTB 1 or 2x after blowing fb (this camp) when I would normally get MIA. I was curious about it when it happened.

As I said, nothing has changed as to amount of charges needed. As for mission results, they have been funky for a while and we been trying to nail some funky ness with them in different towns. As for points, those don’t come through my team, that’s a game management adjustment that can be changed on the fly.

Its different at different FB's been that way for a long time not recent.

Maybe if some of you talking about it did it more often than once a year you would have known that lol

some fb take more charges than others would like to see a standard across all fb's tho, seen an fb go down with just charges on inf to an fb stuck at 99/99.

Will do bugs on any i find i bust fb's everyday most of the day or gaurd them.

as far as it taking more charges delems that was changed a few patches ago cant remember which atm.

Hey Flong - you are our nemesis (and Moz too) S!  and most of the above is good but: 

It may be different at different fbs for RTB/MIA/RES etc. It isn't and never has been 'different' at 'different fbs' for charges damage - other than for stated fb damage patches/changes over the years regarding the total amount of charges required including the original any/all HE blows up FBs in the old days. 

Specifically as to damage: 

1.  No fb is any different from any other as to amount of damage taken from HE satchel charges on veh and inf tents: 
1A. Until the recent 'air bomb damages veh' change every satchel charge did exactly 5.5% damage to either inf or veh tents on the outside; ie in progression: 4 charges= 22 / 8 = 44 / 12 = 66 / 16 = 88% etc. 
1B. This is now different for inf and veh as discussed above; for outside charges -  still 5.5 for inf, but only 5 for veh 

2.  DBL DAMAGE: on inside inf tent poles or top seam centre tent (when inf tents are down/collapsed (which happens at 80+%) - or via the wiggle between the oil cans to get inside (a bit of a cheat) or at rare fbs which are 'in the ground' so a buster can walk/climb on top of the centre tent) and inside veh tent poles/ground or top centre seam the damage is/was always double - so one charge on inf or veh did 11% damage (now  11 on inf and 10 on/in veh)

3. OTHER TENTS: go down with one charge (both rows) and can get two others (ie. 4 rows) down if tents are close and charge placed between; these can also be damaged by grenades and mortar HE (1% per usually) and now, air bombs. 

4. AIR BOMBS; don't know if any air guys know specifics but air HE bombs now damage veh tents and other tents - no clear info (yet) on amount of damage per bomb or variations on damage per type of bomb (any pilots with enough bombing veh/other tents experience should post their damage info; might be good to know) 

5. ANOMALIES: your/the above note on 99/99 fbs going down, etc: everyone should know this;  if a specific tent is/was DOWN (ie. at some point totally blown up to 100% damage either by satchels or air) it is remembered as DOWN until it heals to somewhere between 94/95 - until then it DOES NOT REQUIRE MORE CHARGES - so that, for example above if the tents are at 99/99 - 

it actually depends if either the veh or inf WAS DOWN - and if the busters remember or are keeping track they would know (as should a defender) that if the INF WAS DOWN but the VEH only ever reached 99 (from whatever combination of damage) then to fully bust this fb it only would require 1 charge/1 bomb on the VEH to take the whole fb down -  or vice versa: 

don't know if this is a bug, intended, or just a fb damage memory/healing issue but IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN SO.

as always: there may be more experienced fb ppl with more/different info, or players with additional info - but its basically like the above.

From our initial testing and what was designed,

  • SC250 - 25% [25.09] (4 x bombs)
  • F100 - 10% [10.63] (10 x bombs)
  • MC250 - 10% [10.81] (10 x bombs)
  • Satchel - 5% [5] (20 x satchels)

Its based off Joules.. All bombs will have an effect on them though, the above are the most common bombs in game

RTB/RES/MIA has to do with the proximity of the other FB's, including those that are not currently in service (ie only a place holder on map, with no flag).  In between any two towns (unless towns are close) there will be an allied FB and an axis Fb, only one will be active (ie have a flag) but both spots can give you an RTB (not sure if this is a bug or intended). So the radius of all FB's on your side will give you RTB zones. Quite often they overlap. 

As for damage it seems it might take one more charge on Veh spawn at times, inf is unchanged. 

If yo were to draw a circle around every possible FB on your side (axis or allied) at the correct rtb distance, you will find that some of these zones overlap the opposite sides Fb's. The kicker is you don't need it to be active to still get an RTB.

nc0gnet0 same needs looking in to with changes in the map..there are points that havent been covered on the map...er updated yet

but none to me as any game killer
