I tried it on my Windows 10 and it didn't crash . I would think it might have something to do with your audio driver  but I would try it in a different game .

Not sure if it has same effect with other players and it has not been reported as far as I know .

Are u unplugging your headset while playing for a reason? Maybe an issue but seems like it shouldn't be a problem from the perspective of it happening again?

i've tried unplugging it on multiple games, i can still get audio whenever i unplug and re-plug while i am in that game.

Probably not much we can do about that at least at the moment. I am sure the sound system is old where it can not handle disconnecting a sound card and reinstalling another one (USB headsets are essentially their own sound card). Something that can looked at in the future I am sure.

I have had an issue with a set of my headphones using on my cellphone. It’s just the one pair each time I switch to another pair I can hear a bit of static when unplugging or plugging it in. I switch over because of battery getting low on this one set. I think it might be the devise is sensing a short from the static causing it to shut down or reboot. Just a thought. It might actually be a short but not bad enough to actually hurt anything but not sure. Just don’t change during game play or in my case during a song I like. Electronic devices are very sensitive to things they sense might cause damage. The plugs do wear out with time like if you twist the plus while something is playing and you might hear static doing so.
