When presenting an award to players, the ribbon no longer shows up?

Lince hasn't updated it for a number of years.   One of the things i've found as I've been worming my way through the hctools is that there are a surprising # of ribbon and award images that are hosted on peoples individual accounts (photobucket, etc).   I've collected them all, and have them setup for the new hctools.  In the meantime they should be up on my awards site (see my sig for link). I'll double check to see if they are tonight.

Eventually - and my eventual goal is to have it integrated with CS&R site as well as HCTools and SquadTools.  But one thing at a time - gotta get the new hctools working 1st

Couple questions regarding awards.

Is the "OKW Defense award" the same as the "German Defense medal"?

Or is the "OKW Defense award" missing from the list?

 

Also, I can't find the "Axis Denied Knight Cross".

 

Also, the "Submit Award to player" has 5 pages of awards.

While the "Awards Display" has 7 pages of awards, meaning there are 2 pages of awards missing that we can't submit.

Will this be synced? (from lincetool.info)

Ask the german HC if it's the same.  Over the years a number of awards have been pulled, put back in, edited, pulled again, renamed, put back in, pulled, had the ribbons used for different awards, and other assorted fun.  I'd suggest starting by reading the description and deciding if it's similar.  

Some awards are no longer 'awardable' - as set by the HC.  

Don't dwell on page # discrepancies as that may just be an artifact of differences in page settings where more show up on one than another.  

Lince's site hasn't been updated since 2015 (looking at the last individual awards date).

Tried to submit an award, many of the awards are not available to be given?

For example: German Cross 3rd class, is not available to be awarded.

most likely, I cant recall seeing him on any CRS internal stuff.  As for his site - I have all the data from it.

I doubled checked, the awards listed is different from the awards we can give- on the site.

Can work around by hand, but just fyi.

yeah, I need to work my list down to the currently HC visible list, at the moment it shows the majority of what has been available over the years.

I glanced at the site, seems most axis awards there.

Would be really great to get something up - so we can start adding all the recent awards, and put new awards in.

Nice for players to check on their awards, also helps HC to see what players have, to award something different.
