Hello everyone, im trying to determine who all has audio issues in game, with the sound blaster sound card or drivers.

Issues being reported are:

Audio cutting out completely, needing to restart game client to fix / restarting PC to fix.

Audio sounds duplicating (one smoke round can sound like hundreds)

Please list what audi issues you have, what may cause them, and if its replicated or not.

S!  I have had the sound issue with the Smoke rounds but not just for the sound.  It was the rounds constantly resetting and putting out smoke again after being spent.  Its been replicated and hopefully they will fix it but it gives the sound of it constantly going off and if you have more than a few guys doing it, like smoking an AB, all youll here is the canisters.  Precursor is the canister

make a triple click when first landing.  As for losing all sound I have not yet experience it with my new rig.  Ill keep tabs on it and report back if i see or hear it happening.

This may have been just a Sound Blaster Driver issue, I used to get this with most games. They did release an updated driver near the end of May that solved it for me. I also removed the old SB drivers with Driver Sweeper to remove conflicts.

I nearly RTM'd the card over it thinking it was faulty.

I've always known the sound blaster stuff to be good products but terrible software & drivers. You may need to try uninstall the drivers and install a different version (older or newer), it may or may not help.

I've personally sworn myself away from sound blaster. I now use an external DAC / Amp with a pair of sennheiser HD58X headphones and I've the perfect setup for me.

What sound card are you using? In most cases the on board audio is almost the same as the internal sound cards.
