New award Category

So this is a first in a long while - a whole new unit to introduce, and determine how it's stats should be 'recognized'.  Now accepting suggestions for 'trawler' awards/stats - this thread only.

its a badge, much like tank, infantry et al.

bronze, silver, gold

subjective award based on commanders input.

Prolly have to have its own category - each ship type most likely will, as doubt we'll have versions of the same ship type anytime soon.

The trawler seems to be an anti-air weapon.   You also introduced new SPAAs

Why not make a new type of category-  Air Defence- that counts all kills on aircraft by all anti-air defences (exclude aircraft and infantry weapon)

It might actually encourage people to use these types of weapons as intended.

I don't see much value in a Best Trawler award- unless you give them nets and count fish caught.

While this vessel does have terrific anti-air capabilities, it is still a Naval vessel.

Much as the DDs, Fairmiles, and TTs, it needs to be regarded as a ship, and thus remain in that category.

This is the first expansion of the Naval game in years. We do not need to distance it from Navy play.

As far as stats, I would recommend  the following:

Trawlers are scored on how well they do against Aircraft and Sea Vessels.
The following formula is used to score Trawlers: KILLS * KD

Allied Trawlers should be added to stats for the  following awards:

Elite Trawler Commander
Coastal Defense Ribbon
Naval Fighter Screen Medal
Sea Wolf Badge
Naval Warfare Medal
