Awarded to those Allied personnel who spearhead the Allied offensive, setting up FMSs and leading the charge against attack objectives, allowing the Allied forces to move forward to victory! Awarded by Div CO and above.

 

for actions on 19 October 1940,

"For taking initiative and making a backline FMS from Charleroi to Somzee."

The actions of this/these service members was/were in keeping with the highest standards of the military, and reflect credit not only on himself/ themselves, but on his/their country /countries and the Allied Forces.
